The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) has launched a consultation on the implementation of future U-space airspace in France.
The consultation kicks off with a questionnaire intended primarily for those wishing to provide U-space digital services, providers of other digital support services and operators of uncrewed aircraft.
The focus is on the practical terms and conditions for the use of U-space spaces, the dynamic reconfiguration of these spaces within the controlled airspace and the dissemination of information on the movement of manned aircraft.
The consultation is being overseen by the interministerial U-space Steering Committee, which is composed of representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Transport.
