The Drone Community Steering Group (D.CSTG) has announced leadership teams for four core activity groups (AG).
- The Open Category AG will be led by – Baptiste Simonot (FPDC/Joint European Drone Associations (JEDA)) and Henri Hohtari (Wingtra/JEDA).
- The Specific Category AG will be led by Dannick Riteco (SORA Consulting/DAE) and Thierry Vandendorpe (Airbus/ASD), with Alejandro del Estal Herrero (RigiTech/JEDA) as Secretariat.
- The U-Space & Airspace Integration AG will be led by Jean Pierre de Muyt (Skeydrone/JEDA) and Daniel Gutiérrez (ASD/ITG), with Koen DE VOS (GUTMA) and Luigi Brucculeri (CANSO) as Secretariat.
- The Certified Category & AAM AG will be led by Thierry Vandendorpe (ASD) and Luc VESCO (JEDA) as Co-Chairs, with Joan Serra (GAMA) as Secretariat.
In recent weeks, D.CSTG met to discuss potential efforts and priorities. In total, nearly 50 Work Programme Items (WPIs) were identified across these four groups. Each AG is refining its scope to focus on priorities, ensuring that efforts remain realistic, targeted, and results-driven.
D.CSTG was established by EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency Stakeholders Advisory Board leadership team. Julie Garland (JEDA) and Andrea Signorini (Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) are Co-Chairs, with Justin Chirea (EASA) and Dannick R. (Drone Alliance Europe) as Secretariat.
