Australian regulator increases drone safety app providers by five, taking total to eight

Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has verified five new drone safety applications to support web-based airspace authorisations for drone operators.

The apps provide customised location information about where drone operators can and can’t fly. The easy-to-use maps can be downloaded or accessed on the internet at www.knowyourdrone.gov.au

The eight CASA-approved service providers include:

Aerologix

AirMap

AirPass
