Airservices Australia has opened applications for the third round of the Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) Industry Participation Scholarship, delivered in partnership with the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems (AAUS).
The scholarship supports individuals to undertake training and professional development, helping build the skills and experience needed to enter or progress within the UAS sector.
Scholarships are available to Australian Permanent Residents who can spend the scholarship grant on eligible activities and costs. Activities are to be completed by December 31, 2026. Scholarships of up to AUD 5000 per applicant will be awarded to eligible applicants to cover eligible activities and costs. A total of AUD 25,000 will be awarded each year for the next five years.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to apply by April 12 2026 and be part of the next generation of uncrewed aviation professionals.
