Are you an expert in aviation or drone technologies? The RefMap project, funded by the European Union, invites your input to help shape the future of sustainable air travel.
We’re calling on professionals from across the aviation ecosystem – including both traditional and drone sectors – to take part in a short survey that will guide the design of a digital platform aimed at reducing the environmental footprint of air travel.
The survey is led by RefMap partners Future Needs and ISCTE, and targets senior stakeholders to help identify key features for a tool that will support eco-friendly decision-making in aviation.
Who should participate?
We welcome insights from experts working in:
- Airlines and aircraft manufacturers
- Drone manufacturers and UAS traffic management authorities
- Civil Aviation Authorities and Air Navigation Services
- Airport authorities and environmental agencies
- Ministries of Transport and municipal transport departments (especially near airports)
- Aerospace researchers, aviation fuel and simulation experts
- Aviation policy-makers (EUROCONTROL, EASA, ICAO)
- Environmental NGOs, noise experts, and urban structure specialists
If your work touches any part of the aviation ecosystem with an environmental dimension, we want to hear from you.
About the Survey
- Duration: ~10 minutes
- Format: Anonymous, voluntary participation
- Purpose: To evaluate platform features and ensure its relevance, usability, and real-world impact
Your responses will directly inform the development of a data-driven platform designed to reduce emissions and environmental noise from air and drone travel, supporting the EU Green Agenda and next-generation aviation business models.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Anna Palaiologk at anna@futureneeds.eu or Niki Krousouloudi at niki@futureneeds.eu.
