UASolutions and Radiate team up on drone regulatory and technical requirements

UASolutions and Radiate Engineering & Design AG have formed a partnership to help drone manufacturers meet regulatory and technical requirements.

By combining Radiate’s expertise in structural engineering, prototyping, testing and manufacturing with UASolutions’ specialist knowledge of drone regulations and operational requirements, the partners aim to provide comprehensive support for companies developing advanced drone technologies.

One of the key focuses of the partnership is supporting manufacturers looking to certify their drones under the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Special Condition Light-UAS for medium risk operations in SAIL IV. “Subparts C and D of this framework cover Structures and Design, with detailed Means of Compliance published in EUROCAE ED-325 Vol. 1.,” Radiate co-founder Frederic Poppenhäger said, adding that the partnership would be helping companies through these requirements.
