The Joint European Drone Associations (JEDA), in a Linkedin post, reports that JEDA President Julie Garland has been elected Co-Chair of the EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency Drones Community Steering Task Group (D.CSTG). Andrea Signorini from Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), will serve as Co-Chair.
“The Drones Community Steering Task Group (D.CSTG) is a permanent, high-level coordination body established under the EASA Stakeholder Advisory Body (SAB),” said the JEDA statement. “Its mission: support drone-related rulemaking and safety promotion activities; ensure balanced stakeholder input across the full drone ecosystem; align industry needs with regulatory strategy — from U-space to innovation corridors
“This group plays a critical role in ensuring that the drone community — operators, manufacturers, ANSPs, academia, and civil society — has a direct voice in shaping EU aviation policy.”
