EUSPA joins JARUS as an international organisation partner

The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) has become an international organisation partner of the Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems (JARUS).

Rodrigo da Costa, Executive Director of EUSPA, and Giovanni Di Antonio, FRAeS, Chair of JARUS, signed the agreement on May 30. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Hao Liu, Secretary General of JARUS.

EUSPA is an EU public agency that provides space services and data to support the safe and efficient operation of unmanned aviation. As an international organisation partner, EUSPA will bring its expertise and resources and will participate in JARUS activities.

JARUS also recently welcomed Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia as the 67th, 68th and 69th member authorities.
