Diehl Defence demonstrated its counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) and loitering munitions capabilities at an event in Pocek, Slovenia on April 23 and 24. Representatives from industry as well as delegations from Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, Switzerland, Austria and Germany took part in the demonstration.
Diehl Defence presented GUARDION and Sky Sphere C-UAS as well as the Libelle loitering munition. GUARDION was part of a live-fire demonstration, successfully taking down drones using its High Power Electromagnetics (HPEM) effectors. Jointly developed with industrial partners ESG and Rohde & Schwarz, GUARDION is designed to counter small drones, either individually or as a swarm.
