Militarnyi reports that the Ukrainian military has begun deploying special engineering barriers to prevent fibre-optic drones from flying beyond the frontline.
The article pointed to footage posted by a Russian blogger, in which a Ukrainian soldier explains that the 150-metre rotating barbed wire fence is powered by a battery and controlled by a small controller. The fence breaks the drone’s fibre-optic cable by rotating the barb around its axis. The footage is no longer available.
