Ukrainian defence companies are set to launch new joint production projects in Denmark.
A Memorandum of Understanding provides for Ukrainian defence companies to launch production in Denmark, establish joint facilities, exchange technologies and attract EU funding to implement joint projects.
The two countries discussed the exchange of expertise and technologies aimed at countering Russian drones. “There are strong prospects for cooperation with European partners within the framework of the ‘Drone Wall’ initiative, through which we will jointly coordinate our response to Russia’s aerial provocations,” said Minister of Defence of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
“During the war, jointly manufactured equipment will support the Defence Forces of Ukraine. Over the long term, Ukraine’s promising security solutions and expertise will also enhance the defence capabilities of our allies,” the Minister added.
