U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has selected Thor Dynamics to demonstrate its Laser Armor counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) platform at the command’s invitation-only Technical Experimentation (TE) 25-3 event.
Laser Armor is a directed energy system that provides a scalable, and ammunition-free option for neutralising drone swarms. It is designed for integration into existing C2 architectures.
TE 25-3, which runs from September 8-12, will identify potential Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 3 or greater technology solutions, to meet special operations forces objectives.
