Terma has introduced a redeployable 3D radar system delivering 360-degree situational awareness and AI-powered drone detection. Designed for defence, border control, and critical infrastructure protection, SCANTER Sphera provides horizontal and vertical coverage in a compact radar sensor system.
The scalable system is capable of classifying threats not only by size or shape, but by analysing movement patterns. Using micro-Doppler signatures and target kinematics, SCANTER Sphera can distinguish drones from other objects in cluttered or noisy environments.
SCANTER Sphera is designed for monitoring terrain, airspace and nearby water surfaces such as lakes and shorelines, and is engineered for long-term deployment. It is available as a standalone sensor, with Terma’s proprietary display solution, or as part of a larger counter-drone system.
