Qognifly develops Drone Wall C-UAS system, expands Bucharest footprint

Qognifly has developed Drone Wall, an integrated detection, tracking and interception system, reports DefenseRomania.

Qognifly’s mission, according to a press release issued by the company to DefenseRomania, “is to provide a European, responsible and accessible solution for the protection of airspace against threats generated by drones, aligned with the standards and interoperability requirements of the EU and NATO ecosystem.”

Drone Wall features an autonomous architecture with reusable interceptors and artificial intelligence capabilities.

Ion Mocanu, co-founder and CEO of Qognifly said the team in Romania has transformed an idea into a capability validated on the battlefield in Ukraine. The company has already signed three agreements with Ukrainian customers.

DefenseRomania adds that Qognifly is preparing a dedicated facility in Bucharest for pilot batch production and standardising integration and testing stages.
