Ondas receives USD6M in orders as demand and urgency grows in Middle East

Ondas has received multiple orders totaling approximately USD6 million for dozens of counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) platforms from its current defence and security customers in the Middle East and other regions.

The orders include Ondas’ Sentrycs cyber-RF C-UAS systems which the company says could also potentially serve as initial building blocks for broader C-UAS programmes. Designed for rapid deployment, the system is able to detect, identify, track and take control of rogue drones before landing them in designated areas.

“The orders come amid escalating drone activity across the Middle East and other regions, where small unmanned aerial systems are increasingly used as part of current conflicts to target energy infrastructure, military bases, ports and other strategic assets,” the company said in a press release, citing strong demand and growing urgency.
