Northrop Grumman has introduced a new counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) platform. The AiON system is designed to counter hundreds and thousands of drones, from Group 1 through 4 UAS.
Northrop Grumman has developed AiON as a “low cost and low risk” command-and-control system that enables an operator to command multiple sites from any location. The system features AI-powered decision aids. Its open design enables the integration of new sensors, effectors and third-party decision algorithms, while its software runs across various hardware platforms, including tablets. It also integrates with US Army and Joint/Coalition systems.
