L3Harris has signed an agreement with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace to supply WESCAM MX™-10D EO/IR sensor systems, enabling the delivery of ready-now land vehicles with effective Counter-Unmanned Systems (C-UxS/ C-UAS).
“Field-proven and equipped with high-performance tracking software and advanced image processing, WESCAM MX-Series EO/IR systems provide high-performance targeting and designating capabilities to counter new threats from unmanned systems,” said the companies in a press release. “This agreement marks L3Harris’ successful track record of integrating its EO/IR sensor systems on multi-role and C-UxS platforms. The MX-Series of multi-sensor, multi-spectral, EO/IR systems support ISR and target acquisition missions on platforms across all domains.
