Kratos announces USD7M C-UAS contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has received an approximate USD7 million Production Contract Award for a cunter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) platform designed to detect, track and classify threats, including low-profile UAS.

Work under this programme award will be performed in a secure Kratos manufacturing facility. Due to security related and other considerations, the company is providing no additional information at this time.

Kratos’ product range includes the HELEX C-UAS system that features a 25+ kW laser beam.

The USD7 million contract follows a January announcement from Kratos, where it disclosed it had received approximately USD50 million in awards for products and hardware, including C-UAS systems.
