In collaboration with Spanish National Police, INTERPOL held the Drone Countermeasure Exercise on 12-15 May 2025. The purpose was to compare different counter-uncrewed aircraft systems (C-UAS) against commercial off-the-shelf and custom-made UAS in complex urban environments.
In a LinkedIn post, policy analyst at INTERPOL, Priscilla Cabuyao said the exercise featured tactical decision making in real-world scenarios, provided collaborative learning on strategies and facilitated expert analysis and feedback.
A second event will be held in San Diego in the United States in September.
