Frankenburg and Hanwha to develop C-UAS for land weapon platforms

Hanwha Aerospace Co. has partnered with Frankenburg Technologies to jointly develop counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) technology for next-generation land weapon platforms, the Republic of Korea’s Yonhap news agency reports today (February 10).

The two companies will cooperate on the joint development of the technology, which is being reviewed for use in Hanwha’s next-generation command armored vehicle currently under development.

Frankenburg of Estonia announced a partnership with Babcock in January to explore the development of a new air defence system in response to the increase of one-way attack drones on maritime infrastructure and vessels.
