EDA announces new tenders for C-UAS systems to protect ground forces

The European Defence Agency (EDA) has launched a series of new tenders focused on land domain capabilities and key strategic enablers, including Ground Combat, Future Soldier Systems, Precision Engagement, Logistics, Additive Manufacturing and CBRN Defence – with a specific counter-UAS element.

“The scope of Lot I will cover the following capability development areas: Armoured land platforms, including Main Battle Tanks (MBT), Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV); Uncrewed Systems (UxS), including Uncrewed Ground Vehicles (UGVs); Counter-Uncrewed Systems (C-UxS); Command and Control (C2) and Battlefield Management System (BMS); Organisation, education, training, and exercises of land forces,” said the requirement text.

Projects will last 48 months, the award method will be “best price-quality ratio” and the estimated EUR 1 million.  Deadline is 10 April 2026, 17:00 (Brussels Time
