DroneShield is expanding its research and development (R&D) operations in the United States, more than doubling its workforce in the country. Over 30 percent of the new roles will be dedicated to software development and strengthening its artificial intelligence (AI) team and capabilities. The company will also double the square footage of its US headquarters in Virginia.
This US expansion follows the company’s announcement that it plans to expand production facilities in Australia. It is also establishing a new office established in the European Union and a local partnership in Ukraine.
