DroneShield establishes local partnership in Ukraine

DroneShield has announced the expansion of its support for Ukrainian customers via a newly established, undisclosed local partnership. The company has been a counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technology provider to Ukraine since the onset of hostilities, defending military, infrastructure and civilian assets against evolving aerial threats.

DroneShield has used operational feedback from Ukraine to inform developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) within its detection and mitigation systems.

The new partnership will provide DroneShield’s Ukrainian customers with local support, rapid technology updates and ongoing intelligence sharing with headquarters, while maintaining operational security through strict confidentiality.

The company has also recently published its C-UAS factbook that includes a review of the emerging UAS threat, categories of UAS threats, UAS types and capabilities.
