Drone Defence launches AeroStrike high-speed C-UAS interceptor

Drone Defence has unveiled AeroStrike, a high-speed drone interceptor developed to counter hostile and unauthorised unmanned aerial systems operating in high threat environments.

According to the company it has been engineered to operate in environments where jamming or GNSS disruption may be restricted, ineffective, or operationally unsuitable.

“AeroStrike is designed around a high-speed interceptor platform capable of rapidly closing on fast moving aerial targets,” said Drone Defence. “The emphasis of the design is on reaction time, precision control, and repeatable performance. The interceptor is deployed quickly following detection and is intended to physically engage a hostile drone to prevent it from completing its mission….The interceptor uses a non-explosive and recoverable architecture, supporting lawful defensive use and controlled operations. The system has been designed to minimise collateral risk and to allow recovery following engagement, enabling repeat use and post operation assessment.

Features include:

  • Maximum speed up to 270 km/h
  • 100–200 km/h intercept envelope for agile targets
  • Rapid-response effector optimised for close-to-mid range engagements
  • Operator-in-the-loop, retaining human decision-making throughout
  • Automated or manual intercept control, including FPV flight
  • Direct integration with AeroTracker for flight monitoring, tasking, and intercept management
  • Cueing-ready, designed to integrate with radar, RF, and EO/IR detection
  • Deployable system concept, built for fast repositioning and repeat use

“AeroStrike is intended to integrate with existing detection and monitoring systems and to be deployed with minimal setup. The platform has been developed to reduce operator workload during time critical engagements while maintaining precise control throughout the intercept phase.”

The 2026 Unmanned Airspace Global Counter-UAS Systems Directory is now available. The Guide is the world’s only comprehensive, continually updated directory of global C-UAS companies and systems. It itemises over 1,000 C-UAS products and services with performance details, company sales and partnerships arrangements. It is updated every month and broken down into niche sub-sectors (net-capture, missiles, intercept drones, detectors etc) to give C-UAS procurement and industry personnel a unique perspective of global C-UAS technical capabilities and market positions. It is available in word, PDF and excel formats and Unmanned Airspace readers are eligible for a range of discounts.
