Dronamics has announced the launch of its Black Swan-based long-range cargo UAV aimed at detecting and targeting multi-domain threats from the air. Dronamics is partnering with HENSOLDT to provide a European Airborne Early Warning (AEW) system Strategic Class III UAS. The platform is equipped with HENSOLDT’s MissionGrid suite featuring MissMarvin mission management software, and PrecISR Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), to detect and target airborne, ground and maritime threats.
Early demonstrations of the joint solution are planned for later this year, said Dronmaics, followed by operational deployment with a focus on strengthening Europe’s capabilities along its Eastern Flank, the Mediterranean, and the Atlantic.
