Drone Sky Defender has announced that Boeing has selected Drone Sky Defender as its drone detection provider for manufacturing facilities nationwide.
“The deployment represents a significant advancement in Boeing’s perimeter security posture amid the growing risk of unauthorized and malicious drone activity,” said the company in a press release. “As unmanned aircraft increasingly present safety, security, and intellectual-property risks to critical infrastructure, Boeing sought a solution capable of providing early detection, rapid situational awareness, and scalable coverage across geographically dispersed facilities. Drone Sky Defender’s technology (UAS Sentry) enables Boeing security teams to detect, classify, and respond to unauthorized drone activity in real time—strengthening protection of personnel, facilities, and proprietary operations.”
Drone Sky Defender’s UAS Sentry POE/LTE system provides Boeing with enhanced airspace awareness beyond traditional ground-based security measures, said the company.
