Advanced Protection Systems and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace have signed a teaming agreement to jointly develop and implement modern solutions to counter threats posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (C-UAV), according to a Linkedin post.
“The cooperation combines battle-proven FIELDctrl 3D MIMO radars and SKYctrl systems with Kongsberg’s decades of experience in air defense,” says the post. “The goal is to create scalable, interoperable, and effective C-UAV systems that respond to the growing threats in Europe, especially on NATO’s eastern flank.”
Key areas of the cooperation include implementing C-UAV projects, integrating radars, sensors, command systems, and countermeasures and sharing knowledge to develop efficient, scalable anti-drone systems.
