AirPlate has been awarded a grant from Energi Fyn’s Development Fund to support the further development and testing of its drone detection system.
The system identifies the position, route, and pilot information about drones in real time, enabling users of the system to respond effectively to potential security threats.
The funding will enable AirPlate to conduct user tests at airports and seaports across Denmark.
The company is currently testing a drone surveillance system at the Port of Hirtshals in Denmark, which has already detected several drone flights in the airspace above the port.
