Ondas Holdings’ subsidiary Airobotics Ltd., has received a USD 2.7 million purchase order from a defence customer for multiple units of the Iron Drone Raider System, the company’s autonomous counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) platform.
Earlier this month, Ondas announced that the Iron Drone Raider had completed pilot programmes with governmental homeland security agencies in Europe and Asia.
The Iron Drone system is designed to autonomously detect, intercept and neutralise hostile UAS – including those operating without GPS, RF signals, or remote control. Suitable for use in dense urban and contested environments, the Raider’s drone-on-drone, net-based capture system offers a low-collateral, reusable approach. Each interceptor drone autonomously engages targets using AI-driven onboard processing and returns to base for immediate redeployment.
