Swiss uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) manufacturer, Rigi Technologies (RigiTech), announced on April 10 that its Eiger UAS is reaching SAIL III.
Reaching SAIL III means the drones can safely operate in areas with higher population densities, where previous standards would have imposed restrictions. RigiTech said this opens up entirely new logistics possibilities, allowing operators to serve denser suburban and remote regions, such as hospitals and labs, without the limitations of SAIL II.
Reservations for SAIL III-enabled Eiger UAS are now open on a first-come, first-served basis.
