General Dynamics Information Technology reports it has been awarded a USD580 million Integrated Base Defense Sustainment Support task to continue enhancing the security and readiness of U.S. Army bases, including protection against drone incursions.
Acording to a company preess release:
“Under the task order, GDIT will sustain force protections systems such as radars, cameras and sensors across the globe, including in the most austere and high-threat locations. These security systems are critical to protecting installations, personnel and infrastructure from a range of potential threats, including unauthorized access, surveillance, drone activity and cyberattacks. GDIT will provide continued operational availability of these vital systems, ensuring they remain mission-ready at all times. The company will also leverage its Cove AI Ops Digital Accelerator to deliver enhanced logistics support, streamline processes and reduce overall operating costs.”
