Big Sky Aerial Solutions has received a Part 107 waiver from the United States Federal Aviation Administration.
This beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) approval adds to Big Sky’s previous authorisations enabling the company to operate across Class G airspace nationwide with its full fleet of uncrewed aerial systems, including DJI, Skydio and Arcsky.
In a LinkedIn post, the company said it would now scale up its data collection operations across the United States, particularly in the power utilities sector.
