The Federal Aviation Administration has posted a request for information for industry to provide command and non-payload communications (CNPC) services for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

“In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 126.96.36.199.1 – this announcement is to provide Amendment 1, which allows for the FAA’s response to one potential Offerors question and for clarification. An offeror asks, “Is L5 GPS capability required in the GNSS?” The FAA response is “no.”
